Women's Business Enterprise (WBE) Certificate

This sought-after certification, available exclusively through the WBENC, validates businesses that are at least 51% owned, operated, and controlled by one or more women. 

Declare Label

The Declare label is an internationally recognized ingredients list for products that shows where it comes from, what it is made from, and where it goes at the end of its life.

Declare is a transparency platform and product database that is changing the materials marketplace.

We have chosen to invest in the Declare label so that we can rise above the greenwash and enable our customers to make informed choices.

Red List Free

Our Furniture is Red List Free which means that it does not contain any harmful chemicals that pollute the environment, reach toxic concentrations in the food chain or are harmful to human health.

By being Red List Free, our furniture meets the standards for the International WELL Building Standard and USGBC's LEED Certification.

BIFMA

BIFMA is responsible for developing voluntary product and industry standards that support safe, healthy and sustainable environments. All of our products are constructed to meet and/or exceed BIFMA standards for performance, durability and structural integrity.

Women-Owned Small Business Federal
Contract Program

To help provide a level playing field for women business owners, the government limits competition for certain contracts to businesses that participate in the women’s contracting program.

These contracts are for industries where women-owned small businesses (WOSB) are underrepresented.

Standard Compliance

According to the Federal Trade Commission, “Made in USA” means that “all or virtually all” the product has been made in America. That is, all significant parts, processing and labor that go into the product must be of U.S. origin.

(GFDA)

The Good Future Design Alliance is a community of design + build professionals dedicated to reducing our total waste by 50% over five years.

International Design Continuing Education Council Inc. (IDCEC)

Continuing education strengthens designers from different disciplines by improving individual attitudes, competencies, knowledge and skills in subject areas essential to the growth and success of the industry. It is the mission of the International Design Continuing Education Council Inc. (IDCEC) to serve as the premier advocate for continuing education approval and registry services.

Small, Women-owned, and Minority-owned Business (SWaM)

The Small, Women-owned, and Minority-owned Business (SWaM) certification program is a state program of the Commonwealth of Virginia. The purpose is to enhance procurement opportunities for SWaM businesses participating in state-funded projects.
