At Mantra Inspired Furniture, we’ve always believed sustainability is more than a checklist—it’s a commitment. And today, we’re excited to share two important tools that reinforce that commitment:

✅ We’re officially certified by the National Hardwood Lumber Association (NHLA)

✅ And we’ve launched a new Carbon Calculator to help measure the carbon stored in every piece of American hardwood furniture we make

Our NHLA Certification: A Seal of Responsibility

The NHLA Sustainability Verification Certificate confirms that our hardwood materials come from responsibly managed American forests—forests that prioritize regeneration, biodiversity, and environmental stewardship.

This certification sets us apart from the sea of mass-produced furniture made with MDF or particleboard, often manufactured overseas with synthetic glues and high VOC emissions. Instead, our products are American-made, solid hardwood, and designed with longevity and wellness in mind.

The Carbon Calculator: Measuring Carbon Stored in Our Wood

We know that trees play a critical role in capturing and storing carbon from the atmosphere. But that benefit doesn’t end when the tree becomes furniture.

Our new Carbon Calculatoravailable here—helps clients see the positive environmental impact of choosing solid hardwood. It calculates the amount of carbon stored in each of our pieces, turning our furniture into a physical expression of carbon sequestration.

This tool helps:

  • Quantify the sustainability story behind each table, desk, or bench

  • Give architects and designers real data to support eco-conscious decisions

  • Highlight the long-term environmental value of investing in solid hardwood over fast-furniture alternatives

A Better Standard for Commercial Interiors

Together, our NHLA Certification and Carbon Calculator reinforce what we’ve always stood for: transparency, environmental responsibility, and timeless design.

We’re not just offering a sustainable option—we’re offering a smarter one.One backed by science, verified by industry leaders, and rooted in our belief that good design should do good for the planet too.
