The design + build industry has a waste problem. The GFDA is founded on the belief that it’s time to start prioritizing genuine sustainable practices within the design + build space, including but not limited to the fields of interior design, architecture, making, & building. On average, interior spaces are remodeled every 3-5 years. Piles of perfectly usable, oftentimes new material & furnishings head straight to the landfill from our job sites, & products are packaged in non-recyclable, toxic materials.
